I could have posted this in "Venues and Communities" but since it's not 100% poker I thought it would be more appropriate here.
I've heard, fairly consistently, that Atlantic City is trash compared to Las Vegas. Is there any truth to that? Is AC just essentially worthless as a tourist destination for someone who likes gambling, shows, food, scenery, comfortable hotels, shopping etc (essentially all the same stuff you get in Vegas)? Surely the fact that it's along the coast gives it SOME value, no?
Is there anything family-oriented around AC that non-gamblers would enjoy, or kids?
I’ve never been to Vegas but I love AC. Sure it’s grimey and you should be careful walking around at night especially with money or alone. I think AC has great food, shopping, and entertainment.
I say visit borgata if you are higher income as that seems like where most people wth money go.
