Fresh vegetables taste great and so does fresh fish!

I've been to Canada a few times, not as silly of a country as France but a close second. Canada: A few acres of snow and a few polar bears that munch on the inhabitants.

Welp, more music stuff, I guess.

There is an official music industry term called "polishing ****" <- that's the "s" word.

I didn't know what this really meant until recently, now that I'm understanding the process more.

Polishing **** means "mixing," which is a bit of a misnomer because "mixing" really means adding 100 plugins, autotune, and various effects. Yeah, there is raising and lowering volume, but there is also all this other stuff.

The upside to this is that everything pretty much sounds like **** in the raw form. The downside is that someone has to polish this ****. The real downside is that I'm the one who has to polish my own ****.

Unfortunately, the analogy doesn't really hold because if you polished **** in the real word, you would only need about 1 hour to do so. In the real world, you need several hours, days, or even weeks.

The analogy does hold because, at some point, it no longer even feels like I'm making music. It feels like I'm drawing a picture.

For all the talk about autotune... you really don't want to know what really happens, lol. Autotune is nowhere near the worst of it all.

I think this could be a good reason to move to Canada. Polishing frozen **** has to be easier than polishing warm ****.

I was going to draft this in Dom's millennium film draft, but couldn't find space in the lineup, so I'll put it here instead. Shots of the instrument cluster are priceless

Carlin Dunne was killed in this race on June 30 and they're considering cancelling the motorcycle event.

The crazies are taking over. Whatever sense of normalcy you recall is long gone. Leave before it's too late!

Very well put. Could be used to aptly describe a multitude of things in fact!

I'm spending the week in lovely Narragansett, RI, at a friend's beach house. He's nice enough to let me take it when no one rents it for the week. Also have my granddaughter spending the night. She was excited to have a sleepover with her grandfather. Life is good.
