I played golf in France, I lost. Then we went to the clubhouse and sucked down some booze and I listened to a bunch of upper class frogs yak at each other. I didn't have to pay for any of the drinks so it was all good.

I play tomorrow with a 31 year old school colleague who shot a 70 last time we played. She takes my money, but I get to watch her "form" as she swings. So it evens out.

She sings OK, but watching her in movies is painful. I don't get mad at her for hamming it up--it's more like I'm embarrassed for her. I love girls with big noses, so there's that.

Nice eyes, big nose, not at all bad to look at--but upon reflection it might have been the wardrobe they made her wear in some of those flicks that sank her boat before it could leave the dock.

What Miles Davis could have done to get lumped in with that Pop crew is beyond me. Here: Hear:

Yeah, right. I get to play with a couple other seniors. We played a couple weeks ago, and my friend asks me if I know who Rose McGowan is. I do. He shows me a selfie with him and Rose sitting next to his pool.

Phat,

As much as I cherish Sketches of Spain, I think it was Keats who said "Give me Shakespeare and Robin Hood, too." Or something like that.

I went on a little "date" last night. It was really the two of us talking over the huge gaggle of people who were at the spot, along with bad cover music. It was a good conversation, but I don't look back and think I gotta see her again.

I then met someone who I helped with booking a show. I never met her, but I connected her with a booker who connected her with someone else. I was sort of scared to say hello because I'm shy like that, but it turned out that this singer is absurdly talented. I never seen the crowd at this particular bar lose it like that.

She was also a genuinely nice girl and I was very glad to meet her. But you know, this is LA and people come and go as fast as they appear in your life.

I like absurdly talented singers. They're invariably a lot of fun.

Oregon people are hicks and degenerate hippies and totally suck and blow farts out of dead camels. Like you, they think they are Renaissance people if they go to Europe periodically and grow vegetables.

neither canada nor oregon holds a candle to montana.

all of oregon are dope smoking hippies and all of canada like that stupid olympic game with a broom sweeping an urn but never hitting it.
