Me and Charlie Lindbergh drove from Long Island to Paris one night, a little over 33 hours. Back when we were both young.

My dad told me he saw Lindbergh fly over his house on the way to Long Island. I traced the route, so I think my dad's memory was accurate.

a daring pilot for sure. he will be remembered forever in the books but the younger generation as all generations do forget all about the distant past.

at least he has a cheese that sounds like his name.

i did pilot a 1929 curtiss robin for a short time. that was the plane wrong way corrigan flew his famous flight in.

Me too. I don't feel bad if I offend somebody intentionally, but if I offend somebody through carelessness it bothers me. That's not to say I always feel bad when people take offence at something I've said--that's completely different. Some people make a career out of taking offence.

Ray Zee, Phat Mack, and Joe Cole fly a plane:

Ray is guy (pilot) making the old fashions the old fashion way. The others are self explanatory.

I'm easily offended.

This may be behind a pay wall, but it was too good not to share. One think I know for sure: If they don't start leaving milk and cookies, they're not going to get any more TV sets.

Exactly. And when it's made clear that you offended someone at the end of an evening spent together as a final parting shot . . . .

And that was the second person I offended. The first is just, as his wife said, a jerk.

Nah. I apologized. To one of them. The other is a jerk.

Obviously, Mickey Rooney is the stand in for John Cole. Joe Cole was mentioned because I have fat fingers and a fat head and can't spell. You know, like someone else around here. But I won't mention any name least I offend some nameless no-no.

John,

Joe Cole is your doppelgänger.

Best Regards,
Zeno

Got a new car today. Well, I paid for a new car, I get it on Monday. Always fun to get a new ride. It’s a Hyundai Santa De SEL Plus. Lots of bells and whistles.

Looks a lot like my mom's car.

I just want to say that I ate lunch in Angola, Indiana, a few days ago. On the way, I passed Lee Greenwood's tour bus. I did not attempt to sideswipe it.

It's not a mini-van!

LOL I'm old and want comfort and luxury and a superior sound system and a beeping noise to tell me when I'm swerving out of my lane.
