I picked Naked in the second round. Irma Vep is great, was considering it. Have you made your list? Would be interesting to see and pick up films to watch.

Anyway here's my full list with my 6 post-draft picks:

Naked (Leigh)
Wild at Heart (Lynch)
Black cat, white cat (Kusturica)
Close-up (Kiarostami)
The Hole (Tsai)
Beau Travail (Denis)
A Moment of Innocence (Makhmalbaf) - this was the one I thought you might have meant, fds
Buffalo '66 (Gallo)
The Scent of Green Papaya (Hung)
L'humanité (Dumont)
Dead Man (Jarmusch)
Baraka (Fricke)

Honorable mentions:

Underground (Kusturica) - Arizona Dream is very good but not as good as BCWC or this one imo
Vive l'amour (Tsai)
Irma Vep (Assayas)
Crumb (Zwigoff)
Gummo (Korine)

Hood movies I prefer over Boyz N The Hood:

Menace to Society (Hughes bros)
Fresh (Yakin)

Some I was surprised to see undrafted not already mentioned (i think):

Welcome to the Dollhouse
Lost Highway
The People vs. Larry Flynt
Brother's keeper / Paradise Lost: The Child Murders at Robin Hood Hills
Edward Scissorhands
La Haine
Pusher
Once were warriors
The Rock / Con Air
The Long Kiss Goodnight
The City of Lost Children
Misery
What's Eating Gilbert Grape
Donnie Brasco
Ace Ventura
Flirting with disaster
Romeo + Juliet
To Die For
Henry Fool

I drafted Con Air

Surprised Rock wasn't drafted as most seem to like it more (and that one lurker hinted at it way back in round 5)

Love the Con Air pick!

I am surprised Malcolm X, Edward Scissorhands, Shakespeare in Love, The English Patient, Rounders, Ronin, Iron Giant, My Cousin Vinny, Speed, Existenz. All did not get drafted.

I think Crumb http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0109508/ was the most glaring omission. I debated about drafting it round after round to pick up a documentary. But decided on movies I enjoyed more. Crumb is just such a downer of a movie. I couldn't have it mucking up my squad. But still surprised nobody else drafted it.

Overall this was a fun draft, I was glad to take part in it, I discovered a few movies I hadn't seen before. And realized I have basically seen like 0 non American movies.

I'm way out of my league judging by some of these movies taken. About the only movie I would have selected that wouldn't have been a facemelt would have been LA Story. I love that movie. Hilarious.

Sorry for not picking earlier, I had to leave town to attend a math conference on the weekend.

My final pick is Deconstructing Harry by Woody Allen.

Round 12
Pick #12 (#180 overall)

Deconstructing Harry Woody Allen (1997)

This is my favorite Woody Allen movie. When I watched this, I had recently seen many other Woody Allen movies and Wild Strawberries. I thought the movie was interesting and fun. I am happy to complete my list of movies with this one.

12 Monkeys Terry Gilliam (1995)
Princess Mononoke Hayao Miyazaki (1997)
Gattaca Andrew Niccol (1997)
Point Break Kathryn Bigelow (1991)
Quiz Show Robert Redford (1994)

The Lion King Roger Allers and Bob Minkoff (1994)
Fallen Gregory Hoblit (1998)

I enjoyed following your draft - it was hard not to kibbitz sometimes. A few favorites that were not mentioned (I think) even in the post draft lists (several of these are unforgivable omissions):

Naked Lunch
Dead Man
Smoke
Microcosmos
Ms. Dalloway
Dead Alive
Ghost Dog
Dreams
Floundering
American Job
Metropolitan
Fast, Cheap & Out of Control
Husbands and Wives
Nobody's Fool
The Madness of King George
The Joy Luck Club
The Nightmare Before Christmas
Cookie's Fortune
The Adjuster
Farewell, My Concubine

fwiw seen these:
In The Line of fire, Petersen
Speed, da Bont
Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me, Lynch
Elizabeth, Kapur
The Remains of the Day, Ivory
Reversal of Fortune, Shroeder
My Cousin Vinny, Lynn
La Femme Nikta, Besson
Jacobs Ladder, Lyne
Delicatessen, Caro & Juenet
Bram Stoker’s Dracula, Coppola
eXistenZ, Cronenberg
Galaxy Quest, Parisot
My opinion here is unsolicited, but I have seen all of these save Galaxy Quest, and pretty much like them all, but there are two standouts:

eXistenZ was easily the best 90s Science-fiction film, and it is not that close. It was so painful seeing this at an empty art-house theater while The Matrix was packing them in. An absurd oversight in this draft.

Delicatessen - a similarly egregious oversight, this movie is simultaneously awful and magical in delightful proportion. I do think I enjoyed City of Lost Children more though.

Also, It has been nearly 20 years since I have seen it, but I recall thinking that Twin Peaks was vastly underrated and suspect that it was Lynch's best 90s film. I knew nothing of the TV series when I saw it.

Not only did it go undrafted, but it didn't even get a mention in any ones list of undrafted movies.

Did you all just forget it existed?
