I was really close to picking Goodfellas or Unforgiven. Both incredible movies.

Been so long since I last saw Unforgiven I barely remember it now. Time to revisit.

Fight Club (David Fincher - 1999)

As I stated before, I love this movie. It is my favorite of the 90s and I have been watching it for countless times. I`m a sucker for narrative films.
I personally love the way David Fincher directs his movies and I think this is one of his best works. I have read the novel before seeing the movie and I think it was extremely well adapted.
What I like so much about the movie is that with every viewing you find something new and you have to interpret it for yourself. I think it has a different meaning to every viewer.
The acting from Pitt and Norton is outstanding in my opinion. Norton is always awesome.
Effects and Editing are equally well done in this, too.

I just love this flick deeply.

goodfellas is awesome and i can def see it go #1 if rand() had gone differently, but this is a draft of personal tastes, so it dropping isn't surprising either

That was in my top 15 or so. I saw it in the theater, it was an exhilarating experience. It's not perfect but the flaws don't hurt it much. In a way my fav Fincher movie is *ducks* Panic Room because its just a perfect genre flick and utilizes space to perfection. Wait did it go undrafted in 2000s? Anyways Fight Club second, points for ambition.

The best Western and overall movie of the 1990s. Clint Eastwood, Morgan Freeman, Gene Hackman.

Yeah, very surprised to see Goodfellas go as late as it did
I was real close to taking Goodfellas as well but when it came right down to it Silence had more of an effect on me so I went with that instead.

Two great picks there, both top five value for me.

Would be very surprised if Dominic doesn't take the films I think he will here.

Yeah Unforgiven and Fight Club are awesome films. I'd take both of em over Goodfellas.

I like being the dissenter.

Thank you Vixt for reviving this draft of legitimacy. Goodfellas dropped way too far.

My picks is....duh....

The Trois Coleurs trilogy: Bleu, Blanc and Rouge, Krystof Kieslowski. Write-up to follow.

You get all three in one pick! Cheater.

If Goodfellas had dropped to me I may have had to pick it just based on value. And if Unforgiven had dropped to me I would've risked Clovis sniping Trois Coleurs from me.

Clovis, it really sucks that AGAIN you've got two picks in between mine.

I like all three of those films, but I think Red is easily the best one. That one I really love.

Of course. It is thematically one film. And there is no rule against it.
