So the other day a friend of mine IM's me about what he just bought, he seemed delightfully gleeful. I ask him what he bought and he replies "glasses", a few moments later he sends me a link of what he purchased.
Ok so at this point I am kind of confused and my friend helps to confuse me more by saying that he has no eye problems or in other words, they are not prescription glasses. My first reply to him after seeing these glasses is "I think these are broken, you arent gonna get much sun protection.

10 minutes later my friend signs back on and starts spamming my chat window. I take this oppurtunnity to tell him "you mean to tell me that wearing regular glasses that dont do anything is stylish now?

I dont remember exactly when he got back online, but I messaged him 20 minutes later and he began his defence. I attacked with my original questions stated earlier and he says that they are designer frames and that models wear them. This starts gettting way too out of hand and I start laughing at him nonstop, I refer to his glasses as "dual windshields"

Ummmm ok
So In conclusion,
I think that getting glasses that serve no purpose whatsoever is ******ed as hell, I also think my friend understands what im saying (as can be seen by him getting pissed off and blocking me), but is too cocky to accept the fact that he could be wrong. I mean if my friend lives by these standards does that mean he could get a real nice wheelchair so he doesnt have to walk around?
