I think way easier as they use the same alphabet here. I can only speak a very little. I can't have a conversation. I only know some stuff from being here but never tried to learn the language yet.

Actually BF shook me pretty good. I had a decent chunk on cereus that's as good as gone but more importantly lost my job. I since have adapted and set up some accounts elsewhere and also am playing live. So things good as far as income.

I'm living in a much nicer place now. It's a 3 bedroom with a nice living area, kitchen.I got my own room, nice bathroom, flatscreens etc. There is a shopping mall in my building as well as a food court, market,huge pool a gym and also a cinema. I have 2 roomates. One is this Vietnamese kid from Australia. Hes a good dude, has a good heart. kind of a free spirit type. Hes a little clueless about money but nothing intentional, he just doesn't care about it, so it's not a huge issue. Hes in London now and he's letting this girl and here sister stay in his room. It's ok though as their quiet and one is cute.

My other roommate is a Vietnamese guy from US. He's a trader. He's a pretty good dude and we started to become pretty good friends going out and ****, but he's the cheapest **** I know. I tried to overlook it as best I could for a while but it gets to the point where it's just ridiculous. At times i can't even look at him he's so ****in cheap. But idk he's reasonable to live with so it's not all that bad. He's got this girl staying with him now, she looks real good. Seriously. Not sure exacatly what there deal is. He's mid 40s and not good looking and cheap and shes like 22 and smokin hot.

I been working alot this week so maybe I will head out tonite, sat night here. I got bottles at a few different places I frequent, so just bring my ticket and buy some mixers and im off. Mon Im gonna go to the beach with this new girl I just kinda started seeing. She's only 20 and her english is about as good as my vietnamese but she's wicked cute and a good girl. I haven't been out of the city since I've come back, so pathetic. I got beautiful beaches just short trips away here, in Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia etc. But I just stay here in the city breathing in the fresh air of Saigon.

This is how cheap these ****s are. Ok so Ive met associaed with 4 vq, which is a term used to describe someone that was born in Vietnam but came to say usa when they were young grew up there and came back.

First dude was so cheap I don't even have an example.

2nd dude. Went out to lunch with him and this girl that was staying with me at the time. He wanted to tell me about this investment idea. Anyways me and him ordered some food that we wanted and had a couple beers each and she had a coke and a couple bites of what we ordered. Bill came to(was like 260k vnd, like 13 bucks) and he says, so we split it 3 ways? And we did.

3rd dude was my roomate referenced above. hmm ok well hes so ****ing ridiculous idk where to start. we went out to a club together and got a bottle together. we had some girls with us but obv its understood that we are in on this bottle together. We start the night and at some point he disappears. Im like wtf this dude just jetted without saying a word. eh whatever so next day I mention about me having to pay for the bottle and his opinion was he only drank a couple drinks and wasnt in on it. This isnt even really a good example.Just trust me, this dudes so bad I buy my own fabric softener and detergent and keep it in my room.. This is what it has come to.

4th dude is 3rd dudes friend. He lives in the same building as us. Far from broke. Anyways he comes down to our apartment a couple times a month and the reason is he doesn't have internet cuz hes too tight to pay for it. It cost about 300k a month which is about 15 bucks. So in the day he just goes down to the coffee shop and logs on there if he needs to and if he needs to check something at night he walks over to our place. And this is a guy who has investments and stocks and **** hes checking daily. 15 bucks a month.

Being cheap is fine but when your cheap with the guys around you its obvious to them.

Damn awesome thread UM, you got me hooked on it. What's funny is that I'm Vietnamese but never been back to Vietnam, but after this thread I'm so ready to go there . I can't wait for them to open the Atlantic City style resort, I wouldn't mind living there if the poker games are good. How much is rent at your new place, it looks really nice. Sorry to hear about the cheap shady guys you staying with, you should be careful with money around them they sound pretty sneaky from what you said.
