i dont like that these people exist. but they do.

allowing these people freedoms is the litmus test for a free society. it seems rational to not allow the worst parts, but its a slippery slope. first them, then you.

A brief history of bbv4l:

bbv4l was created as an offshoot of OOT. Among many oot'ers - bbv4l was thought to be a place that would attract all the garbage posters making oot better to read. Sort of like a self selecting exile forum. In many ways it was. There have always been garbage threads but that freedom was also what allowed 4l to occasionally get tremendous threads. So on average the threads were worse than OOT but the best 4l threads were superior to OOT with their incessant nittery. This is no longer the case. 4l was dealt several blows that made it pretty much an afterthought of a forum. Mason's deletion of the MSPaint that depicted a pube is probably the straw that broke the camel's back.

BUT 4l is still serving it's initial purpose. Attracting the dregs of 2p2 posters to this forum. This thread in particular is the black hole center of gravity of 2p2 suck. Where posters like negus and mickey - who nobody wants in other parts of the forum can come to post their idiocy. As such I will do all that I can to ensure this thread will never be closed or locked.

I never claimed to be on his, or anyone else’s, side. I had never heard of 8chan and therefore didn’t understand calling him a pedo. I’m still not convinced that everyone who visits a site should automatically be assumed to be equal to the worst of people from that site. I am not distancing myself from all trump supporters. I don't stereotype large groups of people like that and think they are bad, less than me, etc.
