Donald Trump has 1 full year of economic growth. That year was worse than 2 of Obama's years and better than 2 of Obama's years.

It's almost like the economy is beyond the control of or at best only marginally managed by presidential policies.

Keep gobbling that orange cock though - by all means.

Jimmy Carter had higher economic growth rates than Trump. Top 3 all-time GOAT economic growth presidencies were LBJ, JFK and Clinton.

My point is that economists predicted 2% growth for the foreseeable future and now we are very likely to be 75% higher this year & next. I'm not suggesting the president has that much control over the economy. However, this drastic change shows the difference between a president who is hell bent on shrinking the economy (in the attempt to lower a made up problem called wealth/income inequality) and one who is pro-growth.

lol going back and saying x, y & z are the best presidents for growth just because the economy or sock market did well under them. That is like suggesting a policy change (like a tax cut) only effects the economy the year it starts.

I don't even understand what you all are arguing for. Are you all trying to suggest a president who tried to reduce economic growth (obama) is better for economic growth than a president who is pro-growth (GOATrump)?

it's hilarious that you seem like you want to talk about politics, and there's a politics subforum on this forum, but you're posting in 4l as if anyone's not laughing at you. but i guess you're such a delicate and rare snowflake that you're terrified that any amount of thoughtful pushback would totally destroy you, so you're avoiding substantive conversation and just trolling in the garbage forum. because that's what trump and his supporters are, they're garbage trolls with delicate feelings and nothing to say

Trump warned you both that you would get like this. It sounds like you two are already tired of winning.

By the way, did anyone read that NYT anonymous op-ed piece that shook the world? It truly changed the way dozens of people see trump and the federal government.

Cliffs:
NYT publishes a story allegedly written by someone at the White House.
NYT allegedly knows who the author is.
We learn 2 things from this article: 1) trump says and does crazy things (this is brand new information that has never be released by the media) and 2) there are people that work at the White House that are actively trying to make trump look and sound better than he is which is something every president before him had too but we weren’t sure it was needed for trump.

I can’t believe the NYT would print such a hit piece on a repub President.

I would ask you to substantiate this but the response is more likely to give me aids than a trailer park gangbang.

“In 1995 Clinton loosened housing rules by rewriting the Community Reinvestment Act, which put added pressure on banks to lend in low-income neighborhoods.” time magazine

This link goes into more detail on what Clinton did and the effects of those actions.
https://reason.com/archives/2012/10/...ial-and-housin

If you are too lazy to read the link I will say it basically explains how Clinton was well intentioned, like so many liberal policies, in trying to increase home ownership in the US, but it all backfired when banks and consumers started doing exactly what Clinton wanted them to do. The link leaves out the explanation on why you and so many others don’t blame the government for 2008: because the government has a great PR team and the free market doesn’t have a PR team at all.

Of course he, and every politician before and after him, is going to brag about good news that comes out during their term - and not care about the sample size.

The liberal logic where you all ask conservatives to support every thought and tweet the president has never gets old. It is like you all think just because we think GOATrump is way better for the US than obama that all of a sudden we must agree with everything he says.

It's amazing that when you have major tax cuts that there's a bump in GDP.

Maybe he should cut the taxes to zero and then take credit for his awesome plan because GDP went up to 7%!

Can you explain which loans were preying on people and which ones were the ones the banks didn’t want to do but were forced to by the law I mentioned above? I find there is little difference in the 2 yet somehow in most people’s minds the banks are at fault and liberal policies get no blame.
