If you are too lazy to read the link I will say it basically explains how Clinton was well intentioned, like so many liberal policies, in trying to increase home ownership in the US, but it all backfired when banks and consumers started doing exactly what Clinton wanted them to do. The link leaves out the explanation on why you and so many others don’t blame the government for 2008: because the government has a great PR team and the free market doesn’t have a PR team at all.
