Just for the record, my roommates easily give me enough material to write a daily update, but this is a tough situation to write about. It's not easy to keep this thread entertaining, while avoiding posting things that would get censored by mods and also taking steps to avoid a possibly dangerous trainwreck.
UPDATE (3/19):
A couple days ago, there was a huge fight that started over Sam accidentally drinking Dana's beer and the fight got way out of hand. It almost got violent. Sam ended up telling Dana to GTFO of the apartment and never come back because he hated her. Dana packed up all her stuff and was gone 30 minutes later. For the rest of the day, Sam got drunk off his ass and talked about how much of a “junkie” Dana was and how he didn't need that in his life.
The next day, without explanation, Dana returned with all her stuff and moved back in. I never questioned either about the incident afterward.
They both still argue constantly, but fortunately, they both seem to like me. All I really have to do is break out my weed occasionally and they think I'm the coolest guy ever. (Their weed is brown. Mine is green with little red hairs on it.) I have a limited supply, so I'm rationing it, so I won't run out before I leave.
Regardless, no matter how much they appear to like me, I'm always going to fear for my valuables because there are some serious drug problems in this house that go beyond weed. I'm not going to get into what kinds of drugs are used on a public forum while I'm still living here.
Yesterday, I was in the common room watching basketball with Sam pictured here:
It was peaceful until about 3:00, when Sam's friend Jason showed up. He didn't knock—he just walked right in and started talking. This is Jason:
Jason is an amazing fellow, but unfortunately, his brain works so quickly that it's difficult for normal people like me to have a conversation with him. He changes subjects too quickly and I can't keep up. I took some video to show you what I mean. In Jason's first sentence, he expresses that he is a deep thinking person with academic interests, but before anyone is able to comment, that conversation ends and he begins talking about something unrelated:

Sam assured me that Jason speaks in choppy unrelated sentences even when he isn't under the influence, but Jason was esspecially messed up today because Jason's 21 year old son, Jason Jr., was just arrested. Of all the gangs in America, two standout as the most well-known. Jason Jr. is a member of one of these two gangs. Jason Jr. was involved in a shootout a week ago and a few days later, he was arrested for drug trafficking and weapons charges. His arrest made the local papers:
While Jason did seem somewhat concerned about his son, he seemed much more concerned about his own well-being. Jason Sr. apartment is a well-known “safe-house” for his son's gang. Now that Jason Jr. is in prison and can't be touched, there is concern that the rival gang might seek some kind of vengeance on Jason Sr.
Seeing how Jason Sr.'s apartment is about 50 feet for ours, I was a little concerned, too.
After Jason Sr. left, Sam assured me that the odds of a gang shooting up Jason Sr. house are pretty low. “Why would they bother with a guy like that?”
Hearing Sam say that made me feel a little bit better, but than Sam kind of freaked me out again when he continued by saying, “But then again, you never know. There is no telling what those kids will do. They are ****ing crazy.”
