SO I looked it up, Achtung Baby sold 15 million copies, can't find a number for AJFA, I am guessing around 5

Looks like AJFA sold at least 8 million copies, interesting to me I would not of thought it was that high

Sales of Metallica's back catalogue got a big surge after the black album. Pretty sure sales for AJFA were more modest before then.

Yea. But still they were all over MTV, winning grammys,top10 album and filling arenas. 2mil is absolutely huge for a band like them at that time. That was definitely the turning point in catapaulting them to superstar status. I can't believe I'm even in this discussion, this is hilarious.
