This is going to sound very weird, I have actually considered castrating myself for reasons I won't explain (Nothing ethically arguable though, just because of personal issues.) I still think about it, and at one point I started investigating about it and I found out that people now are chemically castrated, so I figured that physical castration is basically a suboptimal choice. It hasn't gotten to the point where I have got to read studies or check for precedent on the subject, so there has been no actual contemplation about doing it.
As for the question, if I were to decide to chemically castrate myself and were happy with it to the point that I'd be sure I'd never try to revert it. It would be an easy 5 Million dollars, but the money would have almost no weigh in the decision.
