Re: The question of the day thread

The one I currently have doesn't have anywhere for coins. I didn't notice it when I bought it. Definitely keeps the wallet in a better condition, but a bit of a pain carrying coins in the pocket.

Re: The question of the day thread

I'd have to clone myself to generate 4 loads of laundry every week.

Yeah, 1 load of clothes per week would be my guess.

Sheets and towels tho. 1 load per week seems too few.

Re: The question of the day thread

I wait until I am out of something, usually undershirts, and then I do a load of whites and darks. Then I do sheets and towels every other week.

I carry a small wallet (no folds). It's compact and thin and really more of a pouch. It's soft-sided. It has an RFID blocking material sandwiched between the soft interior and the durable exterior layers. It has a zipper and a utility clip, for days I go out without pockets or need a little more security. It's about the size of a pack of cigarettes, but it's only half as thick. It usually rides in the right rear pocket, when moving about locally. It easily slips into a front pocket or can be quickly clipped inside the waistband, when acting in alien or unsavory locales. In it are: DL, concealed carry permit, 2 bank cards, credit card, health & Rx insurance cards, SS card, passport card, and 3 of my old business cards.
A second piece, a leather business card slip, can be added to a different pocket (left rear) when visiting the warehouse stores or casinos. Sometimes, it gets stripped down to function as a dummy wallet. I try to plan events, so that I don't need the entire collection. The required card is simply added to the main wallet.
In the slip are: more credit cards, a couple of store loyalty cards, Sam's and Costco membership cards, MGM and Harrah's players cards, a couple of photos of my family, 3 of my old business cards, and a state ID.
Most of the cards can be accessed via my phone, but we're not quite 100% card free. Handing my phone to the police, in lieu of the actual DL and gun permit, is verboten.

(retired/semi-senile folks sure do ramble on about the simplest things. The question of the day thread)

A load here and there, or all in a day, as schedule permits.
