When my son was three, my mom took him to her golf club to show him off to all her white, wealthy, elderly, women golf friends. She sat him behind the steering wheel of her golf cart and, with all her friends standing around, Evan, with a wide grin, slapped the wheel and yelled ****, ****, ****, ****, ****.

July 2016. Vasa museum in Sweden, several churches and old family/ancestral manors (LOL relatives) in Finland that have been converted to museum/historical sites, the castle in Turku which is now more of the same.

October 2016, The Gibbes Museum of Art, Charleston, SC

We were in the French Quarter and it was raining so we went inside. Not bad. I give it a solid C+.

Lots in Europe about 2 years ago. Louvre was the most famous one. So big. Not very exciting. The building itself was pretty mind blowing though.

Since we're talking about museums I will poast a brag and mention that I spent an entire afternoon in the Uffizi and it was awesome and I was happy and I want to be a Medici when I grow up.

I will also poast a beat and talk about the time I went to the Royal Museums of Fine Art in Brussels, and the Magritte wing was CLOSED, which pissed me off, and the modern wing was housed in this sort of grim, multi-story basement atrium thing that was the most bleak and depressing gallery space I've ever been in.

Sometimes I travel for months, others I don't leave the house for days. I'm a man of extremes.
