If you want a work visa for the US you need to have something to offer. The things we're looking for are specialized technology skills, grunt labor for agriculture, and people with a ****ton of money. If you don't have one of those three things you're not getting a visa.

i did mean a holiday visa. but thanks for that. it's pretty much the same here though we let you come holiday too.

oh i thought they were one in the same. i'm not looking to LIVE in your country for the rest of my life. ( aus is too awesome) I just need... i don't know SOMETHING to happen right now...

...why doesn't the US take agricultural laborers from Oz? Why does the country of origin matter in this case at all?

Definitely not opening Google for this..and Australia is pretty white and speaks English...but you may want to double check that Australia has a racist un-bane.

USA#1 doesn't let everyone from every country in without actual Visa.

Also, I found the student Visa easy to obtain and opened the door for working as a tutor and getting an SS #.

idk, but I just checked and apparently Australia is on the list after all. Turns out it's a really long list.
