Re: The question of the day thread

When you finish having a shower/bath/swim and you grab your towel to dry yourself, excluding your hands, what part of your body do dry first?

Unless you're walking on your hands this doesn't seem like it would be too effective

Re: The question of the day thread

Not sure I understand that.

Turn off shower
Wipe most water off body with hands
Grab towel
Dry one foot, step out of tub with it
Dry other foot and follow
Dry rest of body in the spacious expanse of my bathroom with dry feet

Do you even bath mat, bro?

The correct order is:
Face
Hair
Arms
Step on bath mat, which dries feet.
Wrap towel around body
Go on about your business
Remove towel
Junk
Legs.
Moisturize.

Re: The question of the day thread

No, I do not maintain a prime environment for mold and bacteria on my bathroom floor. Because I have the good sense to just wipe my damn feet before stepping out of the tub.

For serious, carpets and rugs are awful, in any form, in any room. Filthy nasty gross disgusting. People who wouldn't think of wearing a pair of socks two days in a row will keep the same damn piece of carpet on their floor for a decade. *shudder*

Re: The question of the day thread

Carpets are vile. No argument on that front.

Bath mat strat is buy 3. One to use, one to wash/hang dry, and one ready to go. Throw in current with each load of towels...for me, it is about every third day.

I stand by my system.

Re: The question of the day thread

Carpets in the bathroom are obviously a huge no no, but in other rooms they are great.

Also, how is mould in your bathroom an issue, don't you open a window..?

Re: The question of the day thread

A bathmat..

In Rule, Britannia, a carpet means a fitted carpet, like you'd have in a living room.
