minimal. i'll walk outside barefoot if i'm not going far

so like, never a second longer than a full day of wearing shoes. i'll lose those socks as soon as i get home

i've got many different floor textures in my estate. 3 types of hardwood, ceramic, linoleum, stone, jute rug cotton rug sheepskin rug. i didn't realize i was this into foot textures until just now

I think I'm into foot texture, too. Especially cold tile and stone. Carpet touching my feet sort of creeps me out, though.

Socks are a shoe accoutrement, slipper-socks I'll wear for an hour or two on winter mornings X3-4 days before washing.

Sometimes I'll go 2 days on lazy weekends where I rarely leave the house and they only get a few hours combined wear time.

I wear moccasins at home, no socks.
If I put on a shoe that requires a sock (that's most shoes except decks and flip-flops), the sock comes off with the shoe at the end of the day, and it is retired to the laundry. I don't walk around I "sock-feet".
Never put on a sock that I already had on, even if it was for 10 minutes. The sock gets formed to your foot, and you'll never get it back the way it was, and aye, Chihuahua, ain't nobody want no sloppy seconds sock.

* In the above exposition, "sock" is used to reference either one or both "socks". If I wear one, I wear the other...they're a pair and that's how they work.

I know this thread is supposed to be about lol questions but you know me lately so:

this week I've come to the realization my life lacks purpose. by " old folks" standards. I sit at home and play on the computer all day ( i do play video games, buy that's only for like a few hours IF that, not like a wake-up and boot up ark, that's omgs job)

anyway, My question is, WHAT can I do in the short term to not feel so down. I've been trying a few other things here and there ( i applied for 8 jobs yesterday and i feel as if i had a good shot at most of them. so fingers crossed)

how would you negate this feeling?

( please do not say " just get a job" that's obvs my first priority)
