Re: The question of the day thread

As an outsider looking in, American Football would be really good if they made a couple of changes.

1) No time outs
2) Same team plays offense and defense

Soccer would be much better if...

1) No offside
2) Goals a foot or so bigger
3) Suspend players for faking an injury (it's not humanly possible to be rolling around in pain on the ground and then 10 seconds later be fine).
4) 2 less players on the field

Basically soccer would be better if there was an average of 5-10 goals a game. I can see that the game is incredibly skillful, it's just so boring. Those changes would probably help.

Re: The question of the day thread

would you rather:

1) wait 45 minutes for starbucks

2) wait 15 minutes in line for starbucks with a very talkative person next to you making conversation with you

So much variance in option 2. Really depends on who it is.

Also who stays in line for 45 minutes for Starbucks?

Is that what a hair cut goes for these days? Shesh. Last hair cut I paid for was back in about 2000 though.

Re: The question of the day thread

the barber i used to use was $23 for your typical old man italian barber.

I now go to the trendy cool kids barber which is about $30-35

And yeah obv more if you are stupid enough to have a beard and pay them to trim it.

Obv this is in australia though and everything in australia is expensive

Am interested to see how much in other countries though

Re: The question of the day thread

Whatever my clippers cost divided by the number of times I use them before they stop working.

Re: The question of the day thread

$0. My hair is long and very curly, so I get away with trimming it myself.

Every couple years I go and get a cut/colour...I think it's around $120+tip?
