She knows I think it's stupid. If she were to make some big life decision based on astrology, I'd have issues with it. But as long as I'm not impacted, I don't really care if she believes in that. And as far as I can tell her belief isn't very strong. I look at this and compare it to my parents. My dad is just like me. My mom reads ******ed **** like Star magazine. They've been together forever and are great together.

She's a reform Jew and her views on god are rather deist. Again, this doesn't bother me or impact me. She knows I'm an atheist and doesn't care.

Most people that "believe" in astrology aren't going to bet their first born child that it is always going to be accurate, its usually much more casual than that. And to me, following something like that is logically equivalent to having any superstitions, which most people do and people aren't usually crucified for holding a superstition or two.

And if you really think the idea of God is stupid than you are being fairly closed minded. Remember, just because there is no evidence to support the existence of a higher power does not mean there is any evidence to support the claim that there is not a higher power.
