I caught his set at ASOT 650 in Den Bosch. If you can't play a proper trance set at the biggest trance event in its home country then I dunno where you can play one anymore. I mean the guy has 'tututu' reworks of In My Mind and Reload that he plays out, as if we don't have enough exposure to those songs!

I'm just going to less shows nowadays overall, I enjoy both W&W and Cosmic Gate but I'm passing on their shows in my city in the next week, although I am checking out Max Graham at a smaller venue (300 capacity or so) which should be quite good. I just find the crowd has gotten more aggressive and bro-ish, people don't even care who is DJing its just a chance for them to go out and get ****ed up and rage. It was mega-crowded at EDC, vibe was still overall good, but the music itself was not very interesting.

They had psy trance sets after hardstyle a few times at Basscon stage. Just they did then change trance after which was weird.
Thought A&B were great. Eric pyrdz was awesome too his set was just way too short, only set I really started getting into there then it ended.
I thought the first half of new world punkz was really good too.

Woww not even at den bosh? Yea Armins been falling off for a while especially since that Intense album and tour but he deserves to be where he's at...its just never gonna compare to the first event I ever went to where I saw him in 07 after listening to him for years prior.

Couldn't agree more about the crowds, I remember talking to some peeps on my flight to Vegas for EDC and bus ride from the airport and they couldn't name a single DJ they were there to see they literally said they were there to get ****ed up and listen to rap music (can't even say trap) which makes sense why every event sells out now before a single artist is announced. This translates to aggro bro "ragers" not ravers that have no idea what they're seeing or giving a sht about anyone but themselves or the scene that was there decades before them, we've got to have the dumbest crowds in US compared to overseas.

On the positive tip I hope they all stay at the main stage u can find the real OGs at the tech/deep house stages and DnB for the most part which are less crowded and no cookie cutter sets.

He's doing a three hour set both weekends of Tomorrowland! Although... they are both at 12pm midday. Which is kind of annoying... but a 3hr set at midday is probably slightly better than a 1hr set at midnight! That is assuming he's still gonna do his usual progressive stuff though.

Haha that is epic! (EPIC!) I would like to see a Cirez D set!

And yeah I'm going the second weekend! That Friday that he is playing (basically the first act on the mainstage at the festival) is gonna be mental... I'd usually like to chill by my tent and drink until 4pm or so, but certainly can't miss a 3hr set of that calibre! Kygo is on at another stage directly after he finishes too!

Whoever said Deep Dish are not as good as they originally were...was wrong!

At Balaton Sound, their set last night was ****ing mind blowing! Best set I've seen in a while! I pity the people that chose to see David Guetta instead of them last night... They are what you call PROPER DJs!

Tomorrowland was siiiiick!

Best sets of the weekend for me were Klingande and Paul van Dyk (saw PvD to end the weekend, instead of watching Aoki on the mainstage). I hadn't seen him in years, but he was ****ing epic... just sooo good! His energy was amazing too, he was jumping like 10ft in the air on every drop. And when he pulled out the keyboard, held it up, and started playing 'For An Angel' live.. soooo sick!

Klingande were ****ing awesome too, their set was at 2pm in the hottest stage there was.. everyone was literally drenched in sweat at the end, but it was such a great set. Awesome mixing and made even more epic with the saxophone accompanying most of the set. A 1min video of Jubel:

The only good mainstage sets I saw were Steve Angello and Kaskade. A&B were not too bad either.. everyone else was pretty poor. Thankfully I was away from the mainstage for the most part. Saw Erol Alkan in an empty stage while Guetta was playing on the mainstage.. was such a deadly set! Dixon, Ame, Seth Troxler, Kygo and Paul Kalkbrenner were also awesome!

Such a great weekend, def better than last time I went (2012). Met a large group of guys and girls on the train over there and camped and partied with them all weekend, was epic!

I was at Lovebox in London the weekend before and saw Bonobo live who were ****ing amazing. But still the best set I saw this month was Deepdish at Balaton Sound (the weekend before that) ...totally blew my mind!

Here's a pic of pretty much everyone at Tomorrowland... unfortunately my gf has her mouth open and her arm covering my face (bottom right) haha. I think someone else got a pic of this on their DSLR though, so hopefully that one is alright!

Here is us looking normal on the Thursday..

this is the afterparty for southwest4 next weekend. my gf said last night that we can't go as she's got work the next day... then this line-up came out! :O

I can't do it now either. Tbh, rather than seeing Deadmau5 and Pryda on that terrible mainstage, I'd be more tempted to just roll up for the afterparty
