Let us say I want to hear this thread's kind of music next weekend. Any ideas anyone? All I can see listed is stuff that makes me want to go for Fabric next Friday...

Went to this last night... bit of a shambles really. The place is literally in the middle of nowhere, had to book bus tickets to take us there and back. Got us there 2hrs before the doors opened.. however that was pretty lucky really, as they only had one little entrance for 10,000 people to get through. So we were near the front of the queue, but still had to wait a couple hours. Other people were waiting like 3hrs just to get in.

The music was alright though i guess. Hardwell and Laidback Luke were good. Steve Aoki up to his usual antics, but his set was not bad.

The place was full of pikey scum though.. in the first hour had some guy LITERALLY lift my gf's iphone out of her purse. He tried to pass it behind my back to his mate, but i managed to see just in time, and he ended up dropping it on the floor instead. And then 20mins later felt some guy put his hand into my jeans pockets touching up my wallet.. i grabbed his hand out and was like wtf, and he just gave me the finger and walked off. C**t. Bet they were from Liverpool as well.

And then to top it all off, our ****ing bus didn't even turn up to pick us up. Don't even know what happened there, but luckily one of the other bus drivers, from a different company, was kind enough to take on his bus. Did mean we had to add an extra hour onto the journey home though, but i don't know what we would have done without him haha.

Aside from that... a great night though!

haha that is so true. Never any problems at trance raves! Also at i love techno last year my gf accidentally had her iphone sticking out her back pocket the whole time. Six hours later when she realised she was 'wtf how has it not been stolen'.

Altho i swear at Tomorrowland last year i didn't hear ANY bad things at all. Like there weren't even any fights or anything stolen at all. At ****ing Global we had 4 phones nicked out of our group of 14. What a disgrace. And Creamfields is supposed to be worse than that as well!

Trance parties are the only parties I go to now. It's also best to just get a table for all your friends.

It's inevitable that whatever's most popular is going to have some of the worst people. Anything not currently popular is only going to have the hardcore who mostly know what they're doing and aren't so easy to steal from, and who know a lot of the regulars.

W&W's set was basically a mixture of their ASOT 500 sets. The first 5 tracks or so were track for track mix for mix the same as the Madison Square Garden set. They also played a bit too loud, it was pretty painfully loud in there!

I had alot of fun at Dash both nights, despite the fact that I know that its painfully cheesy.

I go to alot of shows but I don't really play that much live poker! I've actually just incorporated and I'll be looking at hosting some shows in the near future - although it looks like our market is pretty heavily saturated now with all these summer festivals popping up.

Yeah for sure. I thought it was a bit too loud too.

Yeah but dash is good with the crowd and when he has a longer set time his sets can be really good. Not as much cheese lol.

That's pretty cool though! I've wanted to get into it. As I find shows in calgary are kinda lacking. Like that badlands this summer, c.o.p is such a terrible venue. It's a 3 day festival with no camping too.

Haha that is pretty funny and so true at the moment.
