What?????

You must tell me this info!! Guy is my favourite producer right now.

At a non-Guv venue one time?

Financier, nice 5 videos. Trying to explore what I like best on the house-trance-techno-dance scale. My favorite of your videos was number 4. Somehow I like the smoothness, the melodiousness and continous fast soft beat of trance.

You can like all of it, there is no best. Except the crap from avicii and afrojack. Corsten's track is a monster, Brainfreeze is nasty and Earthbeat is nice and heavy trancy. So it's all preference but you can like them all

I'd have called that Brainfreeze track house. I quite like it though.

The problem with the Corsten and Ottaviani tracks is that they could easily have come out in 2000. It sounds no different to me, and that's why I have trouble with trance.

To be a bit more positive, here are a couple of tracks that strike me as being somewhere between trance and progressive house:

Also, just rediscovered this while changing mp4 tags in google music:

Not sure which genre that one is. Progressive house I guess? (also, it's mislabeled, it's the original and it's from a mix CD but am too lazy to upload the single version)

Oh, and oldskool:

Old isn't the same thing as bad.

I do think that it's bad though.

That version doesn't even remotely fit into the thread. But it all originated from it.

Went to see Heatbeat tonight - its usually just one guy that DJs (same as how its Fila for Aly & Fila). Super cool set, lots of their elec-trance tracks, but he played a bunch of really great older tracks as well including the 3 following gems:

Searched for remixes of old stuff. FR David's Words: didn't find anything usable. Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody didn't yield anything either. Must have searched and checked out twenty tracks on youtube. Finally:
