I believe I told MNOWAX the same thing 6 months ago. Beatport should be the beginning of the rabbit hole for everyone.

EDM is like a fractal of almost infinite sounds and possibilities. The amount of new music I've heard in the past 2 months is astounding. It never stops, there's always more and more.

These are all valid points. Muckface, I do forget this is part of the 4life forum, it just doesn't seem like a normal thread here. That's why I got a little flaked I guess, either way I apologize to all if I offended any of you.

I'm still looking around on Beatboart and soundcloud and other places. I guess I don't get the fascination with it having to be brand new.

This came out really recently (i'm sure) What do you guys think of it? And yes I know Allure = Tiesto.

I think the first half of that new Tiesto track to be strong, but kinda tails off about half way through.

here's what trance is to me, not the candy shop stuff armin and co. put out and people seem to enjoy. I can't stand it, you guys all know that.

To me, songs like this are what trance used to be, and what it should be.

the second song in particular, the buildup leading up to and dropping at 5:12ish is what its all about for me.

Thinking about it, I'm really not a fan of how much they crowd that venue, amd a friend really wants me to go to Dirty South that night as well but I'd prefer A&F over DS.

Went to Calvin Harris with Burns as an opener last night. I had alot of fun, the music was very much your top beatport material & Calvin Harris tunes but the lights / lasers / production were solid. Justin Beiber played at a venue next door and Calvin annouced on the mic that he had Beiber on stage as a special guest... 'Just kidding'. Was funny to watch the swarms of girls rush towards the front though.

I wasn't too happy about the pepper spray at Calvin Harris last night. Solid show though, had a lot of fun. His set was a actually better than I was expecting. I don't like the big 4 as a venue though. Took my girlfriend 45 mins to get through security I was through in 5.

While I agree that MrSuicideSheep's channel is great, it really doesn't contain much of "progressive house trance etc music".
