I just found out that I'm not gonna get employee of the quarter for last quarter. That's ****ing bull****. I worked my goddamned ass off, covered shifts for everybody, worked in three different stores without complaint, never asked for a day off, worked with newbies who didn't know how to do anything, up-sold and cross-sold like a mother ****er, handled every ****ing customer complaint, worked late when there was work left to do, and am the most competent employee by far. But instead, since we had a great peak season, the employee of the quarter is... everybody! We're all winners! But I doubt we'll all be getting the employee of the quarter bonus. I am so ****ing pissed about this.

Also, I've been doing a ton of **** that a manager would do because we don't have a manager. I've been calling our distributors, bugging Konica Minolta to fix the copiers, printing and mailing invoices, and other managerial things. For $8.30 an hour and no benefits. The more I think about this, the madder I get.

They've opened up a new Kinko's in Hamburg. I wonder if they need a manager?
