idk anything about football but i'm sensing the hype that the patriots are the evil empire and the eagles are the young hungry upstarts hoping to prove themselves. really makes me want to root heavily for the patriots. or 'the pats', as i call them, because they're my favorite team. If you show up in Gillette Stadium in Foxboro wearing the opposing team's gear, it's unlikely that you're going to get more than good-natured teasing from Pats fans. A fair chunk of the seats are for season ticket holders, who waited a decade or so to get them, and the stadium is quick with the permanent banhammer for bad behavior.
