Oh what movie?
Vacancy 2. It made no sense. I've seen the first one, and the same guy in the first one was in this one, but he died in the first one and this was a prequel... So, he died twice? That's just... not possible.

You know... I really wish I had the money to pack up and leave. I was talking about this earlier. I'm free now and there's nothing holding me back. Except my lack of monies. That's an issue.

I have **** I could pawn. But it's Daniel's as well... =/
My goal for the summer of 2010 is hike the appalachian trail. Main to Georgia. I'm trying to start training for it now. And it will be expensive. But I've always, ALWAYS wanted to do it. So... I'm going to.

follow yr dreams imo

I just don't want to get eaten by a bear. And I have no one who'll go with me, and I don't want to get raped by some random mountain man. Issues I'm afraid of.

I'm really serious, so if you're serious and would like to go, then you're more than welcome.
I'm backpacking a few of the mountains here this summer. Planing at least one over nighter. Pikes Peak is first though.
01-21-2009 , 04:06 AM
Don't start with Pikes. You will be destroyed by the time you get to the top. There's a lot of smaller, easier, more fun hikes around Denver that are a lot better.

I've always wanted to do something like hike the app trail too, but think I'll probably do something around the Pacific if I were to actually do something like that now. App trail is just really boring apparently.

Have you ever read "A Walk in the Woods"?

i am not much of a hiker, but you should def do this. i would do this with you if it meant you were able to.
01-21-2009 , 04:11 AM
Oh, I hike a lot, typically the columbine trail on cheyenne. I'm not just starting with Pikes peak, I've just never done it. and it's not in Denver.....??
But no, I've never read it, I'll have to look into it. Thanks for the suggestion

I really want to do the trails in New Zealand one day. I'm a giant, and I mean GIANT LOTR fan girl though so... ;/ Before I die, I will hike there. I swear it!
01-21-2009 , 04:19 AM
yeah Pikes is an hour south, if you're pretty experienced it won't be bad then. It's not open very long though, you'll probably have to wait until June or July to be able to hike the entire thing.

Hiking in NZ would be so much fun. What have you done around Denver so far?
01-21-2009 , 04:23 AM
I'm in the Springs. I haven't done anything in Denver
And not much. I try to run at Garden of the Gods once a week since the trails are easy to actually run. I've done the incline a bunch of times and portions of the Bar trail. I've done Gold Camp road, and I do the Columbine Trail at least once a week, weather permitting.
Next time I'm in Denver, you should recommend some trails!
01-21-2009 , 04:25 AM
yeah send me a pm anytime.

haha, awesome

I was actually going to do the NZ tour last year, but we did Fiji instead. I am/was a pretty a big LOTR fan myself, so I would like to do it eventually.

If you do ever decide to do it though you obv have to do Australia at the same time. Then you can hit me up for a LOTR movie marathon session. I did it once at the cinema. Went for like 12 hours including breaks in between. Sick life ldo.
01-21-2009 , 09:00 AM
i'm going to NZ in 36 hours imo

whether you want a Bear to eat you, or you want to stop bears from eating you, i think you need this guy:

Yes, when I saw him take elephant dung and hold it over his head and squeeze, to drink the water, I knew I was in the wrong profession. That guys nuts...grab em.

Um, because it takes a few months to do the trail and going south to north is more difficult given weather.

Sick life indeed. I've always wanted to do the theatre marathon thing.
Maybe is 6 years when I've got my masters, maybe a trip to Aus is how I will celebrate.

How many girls you know have or have had eating disorders (you know of obv)?

*bump*
01-21-2009 , 05:27 PM
I've known quite a few, but I grew up Ice skating and in the ballet world. Plus, I think every girl deals with it in some capacity.

Only 1 for sure, 1 is borderline and I'm sure there's many who have had eating disorders that I haven't known about
