what is with women and there pregnancy horror stories?

When my wife was pregnant, random women at the store would walk up to us and start telling us these horror stories about the delivery they had. going on and on about how they were in labor for 98 hours, had a yard long episiotomy, etc.

WTF?!?!

Why would you do this to someone about to go through this?

you don't do this for any other medical condition!!

I've never seen anyone going up to a bald chemo patient and telling them how horribly there mom died of the same type of cancer.

i dunno but I am already scared of every aspect. I've read of all the stuff people go through trying to conceive and how hard it is emotionally when you can't, all the scary stuff that happens when your pregnant and of course the pain of childbirth. But I think what scares me the most is actually having to raise a kid. But despite all this we still want to have kids, we even have names picked out.

My Bff had a baby about a year ago... I finally had to start being rude to people in the mall that would come up and talk to her... Some old lady was talking about her plug thinning or something gross like that and I finally told her to mind her own business and that owning a vagina doesn’t not give her the right to inquire about other peoples.

Tell your wife to start being rude.

no i dont think so. getting hit in the tit is painful but definitely not as painful as being hit in the balls
