I'm not big on lots of moderation in forums that don't need it, so I want to say upfront that things for most of you in here won't be changing at all.

On any board about gaming you'll find fanboys. That's fine and can even make things more fun. What's not going to fly anymore is rampant fanboyism. Those who seem to be pushing an agenda more than anything else don't make this forum a better place. I liken this to trolling, and people shouldn't have to deal with it on 2+2.

One of the things that has made our politics forum better than others is that we just don't tolerate the kinds of pure dishonesty and trolling that you find on virtually every other board on the subject. We all know video games tend to attract the same kind of stuff on the internet, and things aren't going to be any better here if this guideline isn't established.

So be passionate if you have reason to be. Just understand that fanboyism to the point that it becomes a derailing and shower inspiring distraction is not allowed in this forum. Thanks.
