i can only speak for myself. but a person's appearance really doesn't matter to me. of course if someone asked me what i would want my boyfriend to look like, i would say i would want him to be attractive. but personality means so much more. if said fat hairy guy makes me smile and the happiest ive ever been in my life, then its a small price to pay. in this situation i would pick fat hairy guy over gorgeous nice body guy any day. i have never ever dated a man because of how they looked. our personalities have always clicked and that was really the only reason i have dated any of my former boyfriends. i have dated uglies, fatties and cuties. of course i am the .01% of the female population who isn't like the "normal" girl."

I totally agree, when it comes to dating personality is much more important. Obviously you'll likely notice an attractive person first, but in the long run it's not what counts.

on the other hand, maybe you just aren't trying hard enough? when a man wants something he gets it. are you doing everything possible to try and get this girl?
