MY NEGATIVE REVIEW OF THE DARK NIGHT

I did not like the movie at all. It was so boring that my friends and i left and went to walmart. I thought the begining with the clowns in the bank was like a commercial or something but when it didnt end i knew it was the movie. That intro ruined it for me.

Joker looks horrible with ugly wrinkles, terrible scars, and ridiculous smear lipsticks. He look like a Beetlejuice and Crow rip off. And the strip down look batercycle is totally lame. The tumbler is still a piece of trash.

Not only that, but they didn't explain where the joker came from and why 2-face wanted to kill the commissioner. So many plot holes.

It should have been called The Joker Movie the story is a mess hard to follow and out of caracter for Batman. Batman was the bad guy along with the Joker who in this movie was to dark for children at any age. Marvel made comic books for children. This just another perverted movie for no one. I don't understand why people see it.

the movie was action packed, but dumb as hell. some of the things the joker got away with, were just plain dumb. nothing overly great about ledgers acting. would just be another good performance if the guy wasnt dead. too much hype about he movie and ledgers role. bales role as bwayne i liked, but his voice as splatman drove me nuts. anyone who knows anything about movies knows that nicholson owns the joker character anyways. it was entertaining but way overhyped and not as good as Iron Man imo.

why do you need to know where the joker came from? would the movie be better if we found out how he got his scars and rose through the criminal underworld?

Actually it's a take on the joker from the best graphic novel of all time.

Explaining where the Joker comes from would ruin his whole character. The whole point of the Joker in the movie is that there is no rhyme or reason to his madness. He only exists to create chaos and corrupt people who consider themselves part of civilized society.

Because the corrupt cops working for the commish were responsible for what happened to Dent.

Batman is a DC character, and his creators never intended him for children. The greatest strength of the Batman series was that he was a flawed man living in a flawed world. The best thing about the Joker was that he forced the reader (or viewer) to understand that fighting horrible people meant making choices that could make you horrible yourself.

Enjoy the Hannah Montana crap, or whatever it was that drove you to wal-mart.
