If by the technical definition of idiot being someone with an IQ below 20 then very few people qualifiy.

On the other hand, even the most intelligent people know far less than what they don't know. With that being the measuring stick, we are all idiots.

most people think they're above average intelligence... usually this is due to communication issues

That being said, there are just way too many dumb people out there... like this girl last week that ordered a hot dog at orange julius while I was visiting my friend at his kiosk... she gave the cashier $5 and he gave her the change... she was upset because she got less than $5 back. I'm not sure how you don't understand the concept of buying.

I just noticed that your thread title asks are most people complete idiots, yet your poll question asks are most people morons. A moron is a much higher functioning person than an idiot and a bit higher functioning than an imbecile.

To answer your poll question. Many more people qualify as morons than those who would be idiots.
