YOu're actually less likely to get hired perm because if you the company hires you they have to pay labor ready (or whatever other temp agency) like 3 mos of your salary as a finder's fee.
OTOH, once you tell people that you have poker training and 4L is your labor advisor I'm sure you'll get snapped right up.
Also, most labor ready type jobs don't expect you to be able to lift more than 50lbs.
