So my dog has been having lots of gastro-intestinal issues for the past 6 months or so, chronic diarrhea and doesn't want to eat much. Vet finally diagnosed him with cancer today.. gave me some pain pills for him, gonna call on friday to check up. So unless pills help he'll be getting put to sleep on friday, cuz it's painful for him to even sit down.. he has to go out about 10 times a day and every one is painful for him. I feel bad.. but don't want to lose him . Nothing we can do though.

That sucks dude. I hate when you have to put a dog down. But I would much rather do that then see them suffer.

If it is bad enough you know what to do. Don't be selfish and have the dog suffer just because you don't want to miss them.

I've been in your shoes. You should go with him. He'll be nervous and scared as it is and you being there will make his last moments more peaceful.
