Life was created yesterday.

I'm a little tired now.

So, I spread my seed yesterday and now I wait for the babies.

Methodology for those that care:

1) Fill each one with seed soil mix
2) Compact gently with two fingers
3) Soak
4) Let drain for 24 hours
5) Drop seeds on surface or slightly bury (depending on instructions).
6) Cover with a light layer of sifted soil mix
7) Squirt with spray bottle
8) Cover with glad wrap
9) Storing upstairs in a well lit room (though no direct sunlight).

For the record plants were:

Lupinus
Onions
Lavanda
Tomato
Agerato
Sunflowers
Strawberries

That was yesterday.

Today I checked on the sunflowers...

Oh joyous day. I am happy to announce the arrival of several babies upstairs.

I've got one Lupinus that has come through




I've got a heap of onions coming up (they are the little white swigglely things)




And I've got lots of Agerato coming up



Nothing from the other guys yet, but once they know their mates are out, I'm sure they'll poke their heads out.

More good news on the baby front.

In the last 24 hours three sunflower seeds have shown some action. I am concerned that the seed actually popped out about ground level. The instructions said to plant them 30mm underground (that's just over an inch to you USA#1 peoples), but I couldn't really do that as the dirt is only about 50-60mm deep. Hopefully they'll be okay.





Also a second Lupinus is coming up. Just happens to be in the same pod as the other one from yesterday. I call the big one "AF". And the little one I call "Sammy". Being the weaker one, I think the name was apt.





The other ones are going well.

Still nothing from the Lavanda, Tomato, and Strawberries.

Is there a "Morph"-pod?
