Correct me if I'm wrong but you're talking about waste. Waste is taken care of by the large intestine, made up of about six feet of different sections of colon. Generally the digestion and absorption of substances occurs in the small intestines, all the way to ileocecal valve (has about a half dozen other names, but whatever). So, yes, enemas wouldn't serve your needs cause they don't clean out the entire colon.
