So have hunting clubs when guns are locked away from ppls homes. The only reason you all want guns in your home is to keep you safe but if there is propers gun control then there is no need for you to have one at home. You use safetly as a reason to keep these un needed dangers in your home

Just how do you expect to enforce "proper" gun control?

You think the government will be able to get all of the guns off the street and out of the hands of criminals?

One of the reasons I own guns is b/c I don't trust my government to protect me at all times.

The whole issue of hey criminals have guns therefore I need guns to protect myself is a vicious cycle which continues until basically everyone feels like they need a gun. Making it legal in the first place was the mistake imo

Yes, they do sell guns in Wal-Mart and you don't have to go out of your way to get 1. I can leave my house and be back home in less than 1 hour with a new gun.......less time if I don't go to a licensed dealer.

You can buy guns at Walmart, the ones in my area any way. People in most states don't have to go out of their way to buy one and shouldn't have to. In my state (PA) you just go into the store pick what you want file out some paper work get the insta check done on their computer and out you go. The computer check looks to see if you have any criminal background that would prevent you from owning a gun.
