I wrote to adidas once because I wanted to know why they discontinued making the Superstar shoe, and then they brought them back (when they brought all the retro shoes back) all accept the ones that I still have.

They did not respond. Also to this day I have not been able to find a pair. The ones I have are cracked in the sole and I can't wear them outside if it rains, but they are so damn comfortable. Have had them now for 10 years.

OP inspired me. This was the first idea I had, and I'm handicapped by lack of lined paper and less pretty handwriting, but if this humble suggestion succeeds I'll be popular with lazy people everywhere.
