I didn't mean to insinuate you are an ass. You just made an extremely bold claim and I was interested in how you came to such a conclusion.

What leads you to believe the American economy is currently bad and what caused this?

Prices have been rising for 100+ years (throwing out random big numbers obvs but you get the point) and saying a lot of the poor will all of a sudden be burnt because of it doesn't sound logical to me.

No, I think growth conditions are better than they have been in a long time (see: recent employment report beating expectations and most other economic reports that have come out recently plus the ones that will come out for the next couple years). After seeing better and better employment growth for the next couple years next we will see real wage growth since their will be a lack of supply for the labor for the lower and middle class fairly soon. The "War On The Poor" is over, brah.
