dude i could go all day. you're the party of racism and bigotry that you try to hide with thin veils of "economic responsibility".

but hey, keep telling yourself whatever bull**** you need to to feel good about yourself.

conservatives haven't been on the correct side of history ever why start now.
I know your emotions aren't allowing for logic to apply but...

1. However you wanna dress it up to make it sound scary, it wasn't a muslim ban. Most of the countries banned (and those currently on the list) provide no strategic benefit for the United States politically, operate in 3rd world conditions with limited technological advancements (meaning they can't comply with simple things such as recognizing electronic passports) even if they've shown a willingness to try, have unstable governments, and are safe havens for terrorism. Conveniently, if this were an actual muslim ban, why wouldn't all of north & east africa, the middle east, and the entire region from the south china sea to the timor sea be banned? Why would we allow students from these banned countries in on Visa's still?
2. The USDA already requires most adults without dependents to work if they collect food stamps for more than 3 months in a 3-year period. That has existed long before Trump.
3. Requiring a form of ID for something as simple as voting is just common sense and actual research shows proposed Voter ID laws don't have a big effect on elections: https://www.vox.com/identities/2017/...oter-id-racism
4. Pretty important to know whether someone is a citizen or not considering data from the census determines congressional seats, electoral college votes, redrawing state and local districts, distribution of tax dollars for schools, roads, and other public services.
5. This is manufactured outrage. The reality is that polling places are being closed because of a decrease in voter turnout due to the prevalence of early voting and absentee ballots. In states where voter turnout has increased (like Massachusetts, Vermont, Deleware), there's a direct correlation of new polling places being opened.
6. Gerrymandering. May I introduce you to something called the Voting Rights Act. Read up on Section 2 and Section 5. Then you can read up on the Equal Protection Clause of the 14th Amendment. Cheerio!
7. Border wall. Illegal immigration is a serious problem in this country and is a net negative burden on taxpayers. We share land borders with only two sovereign nations: Canada and Mexico. We only have an illegal immigration problem with one of them. That's not racist, that's just facts.

the work requirements were for some "reason" relaxed in white areas as said in my original post.

there is no voter fraud problem in the US. there is no need for Voter ID. Id's cost upwards of 20-40 dollars in some states. gas stations and bars aren't unalienable rights.

no. we should open more polls. why don't you want people to vote?

you're a racist. there is no humanitarian crisis at the border. immigration both legal and illegal are helpful to this country.

keep doing you bro. sometimes this **** is cathartic
1. By your own admission it's not a muslim ban - it's called politics. This crap has been happening long before you or I have been alive, that's just the world stage. You're only yelling at clouds now because Trump said a couple mean words and you need to feel part of something for once in your life.
2. I addressed your bullcrap work requirements comments above.
3. Having an ID is like step one in verifying someone's identity. It's in the name my guy. Voter ID. ID. my goodness child. Also, 20-40 bucks for something that lasts up to 4 years (at least here in Michigan) comes out to less than a dollar per month. Nobody is that poor as much as CNN wants you to believe.
4. Polling stations are opening where there is a demand. They're closing in places there isn't. We call that supply and demand.

Calling someone a racist because they hold a different opinion than you is so lazy. You have no idea how lucky you are to live in a country that provides you with the freedoms to act like such a petulant child.

Lastly, LEGAL immigration is great for this country. ILLEGAL immigration is not. Ignoring the economic burden, there are consequences to peoples actions and since we live in a society with laws, those need to be enforced. If a certain political party in this country won't enforce them, then actions need to be taken to ensure the safety of the citizens of the US. A border wall, while quite a bit ridiculous, seems to be a pretty good lightning rod for debate on the topic...if nothing else.

Jo, shutting down dem talking points like you did usually results in the liberals ott changing topics or for the thread to go silent for a week or so until their feelings get hurt by a trump tweet at which time they will want to talkabout the tweet

As much as I hate letting slighted off the hook for all the stupid liberal talking points he managed to jam into one post I have to say I am excited for the mueller report to come out. It is looking like it will confirm Hillary was the only presidential candidate that cheated in the election process.

Mods, please put these posts and others like it in the conspiracy theory thread. Also, please ask these truthers to tone it down ITT.

Agreed. Let’s really take it to these truthers. It is too bad that even after it comes out the media will just skirt the whole topic. Would love to see them throw up their arms and say okay we’ve been lying to you for 2 years and Hillary is the only one who cheated during the election process.

I know you're really-really stupid but I just want to remind everyone else following this thread that the Muller report confirms Russian interfered on behalf of Trump even if it doesn't show collusion with the Trump campaign ... which is exactly what all these posts say.

If I was the leader of another country I would interfere with every single US presidential election, many non-presidential US elections and a few non-US elections. The health of the US economy effects the world economy too much not to.

I would try to help trump win unless I knew trump was going to lower corporate tax rates (gotta love the US trying to subsidize my country’s growth) and use the amazing leverage the US has over my country in trade talks. I like his pro-growth ideas but doing those 2 things would make me more neutral.

Cliffs: lol at you for thinking another country’s interference in an election = a politician colluding.

This might have been addressed, but I'll say it anyway:
The Russians tried to influence the election - so what. (Haven't we (USA#1) done this countless times?)
I wasn't influenced by the Russians, were you?
