The NYT article is obviously suggesting trump said that about illegal immigrants, but anyone who listens to the actual clip knows that isn’t true. A bunch of the liberal media did something similar when he said not everyone sneaking across the boarder are good people - people acted like he said something racist. As if, saying some percentage of any nationality are rapists, murdered, etc. is somehow racist.
