Let me start out by saying that this is 100% legit.
So, like a lot other people, I'm locked up in NY with too much free time on my hands. I decided to clean out my inbox and stumbled across an old email from 2017. Let me give you a quick backstory...
I used to be the video editor for CardRunners, right up until they closed shop in 2017. As the video editor, one of my jobs was to clean up everyone's audio. So raise up audio levels, take out hiss, coughs, odd sounds, etc.
Over my seven years as editor, I heard all kinds of stuff. Burps, farts, gunshots, sex... but never anything quite like this.
I was editing some $600NL 6-max from CR Pro Brad Wilson when something caught my attention. Normally when I edit, I don't wear headphones. But I was that day. Otherwise, I don't think I would have ever heard it.
I was speechless.
I honestly believe that Brad may have captured an electronic voice phenomena (EVP) while 4-tabling $600NL 6-max on Bovada Poker.
I'm not gonna say this is a voice from a dead person, but it sounds like the voice from a dead person. It still gives me chills to hear it.
So give it a listen and tell me what you think (headphones would be best). You can hear the EVP after Brad says "which is like...". It is a two-syllable word.

The first part is straight from the recording with just some noise removal applied. In the second part, I raised the levels so you can hear it better.
The pause in Brad's speech was just him gathering his thoughts while trying to 4-table and simultaneously record a video. His chuckle was not a reaction to the sound.
I actually shared the recording with Brad back in 2017. He was freaked out and said that his friend's mom had died in the house less than a year before. He also said that his kids and wife stay on the other side of the house when he records. He couldn't explain it.
I'm not going to reveal what I think was said because I don't want to influence anyone. But let me know what you think!
