Duallen, after reading this thread in more detail, I have concluded that you are either:

a) full of ****, or,
b) mentally ******ed

If a, we should all request that this thread is closed immediately so we can read more interesting threads in BBV4L about analingus with Joey Clark, or some guy wondering if it is wrong to bang a fat married chick.

If b, your caretaker should hopefully have to sign off on any otherwise adult decisions you make, and hopefully he/she will know better than to let a ****** buy an Audi.

I needed to replace a key this week -- $230 + 1/2 of labour so after taxes I figure ~$350 to replace a key.

Oil changes are just over $500 for my car but the range for nicer cars is $300 for entry level cars like the one you are considering to as high as $3000 for some of the top end exotics.

A set of tires for my car is about $1400 which is about what I would expect for a set on a Maserati.

My insurance is over $5k a year and I own my car -- since you plan to finance / lease / whatever you need to get more comprehensive insurance to satisfy the lender but the car you are considering is also much cheaper although that is countered by you being much younger and likely mentally ******ed so I say $2500+ with $4000 not being unreasonable.

I'm voting A because B would make mocking you mean.

I really don't think he's interested in any of the good advice given here. he knows exactly what he'll do. Just check back with us in 2 years and let us know how it went.

Dunno how much of this is serious but...

$100/hr at 1/2 is not an easy feat. If your only experience in cash games is 7k hands and watching some vids you're not going to come close, if you're even a winning player at all.

A decent hourly 9 tabling 1/2 6 max would be about $60/hr including rakeback. The best players can make $100/hr, but if you can do that consistently you should move up.

"I was in credit card debt from betting on sports."
"I have 1k and 2k on the Celtics +7 in the last 2 games."

"I plan on making $100/hr. on STars, sholuld be pretty easy to supplement my income like this."

Based on the cost of the oil change I'm guessing a 911?

The cost of insurance seems pretty lol to me, but I don't know anything about Canadian car insurance rates, nor do I live in the city.

Let me tell you about my Celtics bets. It all started in game 1 vs magic, Im actualy a magic fan, so I put 1k on celtics plus 7 and won easily. Game 2 i bet 2k on celtics plus 7 vs magic and won. Game 3 I bet 4500 on celts minus 3 and won. Game 4, I wasnt gona do it, but I lost final 30 in a poker tourney so i got mad and bet 3k on celts and lost.

Nba finals I bet 4500 game 2 on celts plus 8 bought 2 points and won. Game 3 i knew was a tossup so i bet 3k with the intent to bet all my money on celts game 4. So after losing game 3 i put 10.6 K on celts and boooooom Big baby came thru for me.

I plan on buying a 2008 Maserati Gran Turismo and saw some on ebay for about 75k. I'm thinking I want to put down 45k and finance 30k. What do you guys think about this. I wanted a new audi s5 or a5 at first, but now I see that the maserati looks way better. Thoughts?

OP, everyone in this thread is trying to be sincere and tries to talk this plan out of your head in a gentle way.

BUT you fail extremely hard to get it through your head. Being 25 and betting 10,5k on a match is not normal given you just got out of debt.

OP you're extremely delusional. Earning 4k a month with poker is no way a walk in the park, especially not when you will have to do it in your spare time. Discipline is one of the key aspects to playing winning poker, and everything you posted says you don't have any discipline. Betting huge on sports bets, while you said you would quit after game 2/3. Saying you play above your bankroll all the time.

This will not end well.

Hmm I debated on whether I should put 20k on celtics on game 5, but I decided against it. I reallllly have my mind set on Maserati. Im tired of my 2005 G35 Sedan, I want something really flashy.. If not the Maserati what else should I get. I want to get a flashy coupe maybe a used 2008 thats very flashy I have a job that pays 61k a yr, and I know If i just get disciplined and stop wasting time on tourneys and stop playing 23 games at once at sng i could make good money so I can afford a car up to about 65k. Wat should I get

Why buy a car that you can't afford!??

you clearly can't afford it and are relying on pokerz to make your monthly note..

just take like 12-20k and buy a VW GTI '03 Annv. or the 04 r32

Even though it's unclear if you are even a winning poker player, it seems pretty clear that you want to spend at least 60k on a car for some reason.

Anyway, I would go for a BMW if you're looking at coupes. Check out the new M3's

You can not afford a Maserati. If/when anything breaks you will be ****ed, and I doubt you can afford routine maintenance (especially if you're not mechanically inclined and will be having a shop do all of the maintenance.
