So I am turning twenty this summer, and i am going to study to be a teacher in Norway. Personally, being a norwegian, I think teaching is a better profession in Europe than in USA. (Lived in the states for one year). Anyway.

To the problem. I do not want to live in the same town 4 moar years! I wanna go making new friends, experiencing new things ect ect. My GF does not see eye to eye on this one. She has literally said that "if you moved to (some towns 6 hours away with train) , we cant be together!

We have been together about 1 year. What to do? Of course i love her, but am I being selfish here? And oh, my best girl-friend is also moving to the same city.

First off, I'm Norwegian as well and know for a fact that working as a teacher is like very underpaid so I don't know why you say that it is a better profession in Norway then in the US, though I don't know how it is in the US.
