Get this Update:
His best friend is an ex-deputy and knows all the guys on the force. Before they approaced the ex, they had found the missing person report in the system filed by best friend, and since they knew him they called him before approaching the ex and pretty much knew he was gone mentally. (had been living in the car for 3 weeks with no clothes, food, or water; he was apparantly very out of it, ldo)
So they approached with the pellet gun and shot him in order for him to drop the weapon and then took him to the hospital.
NO CHARGES ARE BEING FILED due to friendship/favor to ex-deputy. How "lucky" is that, and NOW what is he going to do/go? The hospital only holds mentals for 48-72 hours before turning them over to institution or back on the street.
