I know exactly how you feel. I think a lot of people feel the same way. Don't honestly want X to die, but at the same time would not be upset if they had some accident and got dead. This is common and normal, imo. And everyone here has probably at some point in there life thought or said "I wish he/she died a horrible painful death". Making that statement does not make you a future murderer or bad person.

MissT - Did you consider pressing charges against your ex husband for knowingly subjecting you to the chance of contracting a deadly disease? The whole AIDS thing just seems off here. I can't believe you'd have subjected yourself to 2 years of regular AIDS tests and the uncertainty/fear that causes without forcing him to be tested. Fishy.

Honestly never thought about pressing charges because I am very positive/certain that he is negative for several reasons. 1. Although he has never been tested (that I know of) while we were together, we have donated blood together with no phone calls or bad results coming from it. 2. I have had blood tests every six months for 2 years and from research on the internet after 1 year of non risk behavior and testing the odds of having the virus diminish quite substantially. 3. I have known him for 10 years, lived with him for 5, he has never had any symptom of the virus for 10 years and again, according to research, the HIV virus has a window of usually 6 months to 1 year of showing up if it's there. If it was there it then has 6-7 years to progress to full blown AIDS.

My stating his lie was just to reinforce one of the reasons that I have anger and bitterness towards him.
