it works better with more things, by sticking it in the middle of the food so they dont notice. A few times they have noticed, when i only bought a couple of things, and re-scanned to correct it.
I have yet to buy a 6 pack by itself and be .35 cents ( i will LOL if this happens some day)
couple times even when i jsut bought 4-5 things it also worked so it depends on the cashier. target the ones you know are stupid/dont care

it's fairly easy to put a tub of Haagen Dazs or something equally expensive/kg on the scale for weighing loose items and put it through as onions - do it first and then get a load of other **** into the bag, get away clean every time.

oh yeah, they also have a thing where you weight your own fruits/veggies. I weigh 1 tomato, print the reciept, then add 6 more tomatos to the bag
