LoL @ that. The fact is that on average druggies are a HUGE NET MINUS to the people they affect in their life compared to people who aren't on drugs. That's why you should stop doing drugs before you have a child instead of waiting for the child to decide then it's time to stop doing drugs ainec ffs imo.
I see what your getting at, but to be honest I see a big difference between hard drugs like heroin/cocaine etc, and things like LSD, DMT etc..
Do I think a good trip could change his views, almost for sure, If it would change them for the better or worse is completely up to the person himself, Like it or lump it, People alot smarter then me or you , also believe it could do alot more good then bad if used and shared in the right way could do alot of good.
Its not so crazy to think that things that open you up to a different view point could or would change your view on it.
Secondly, Im not saying that we should experiment with all drugs, certain ones have the potential to do good, at least in the realm of thought and feelings. Which in turn could change things on a deeper level, a more concrete one.
The stop taking drugs before having a child, is just gold advice and wouldnt fault you in the slightest for that view point. Just dont shut down all drugs and all experiences as negative, Theres positive , negative and everything in between.
Also dont forget that drugs are part of everyday life, some are just more accepted then others, Two of the most common have horrific health implications,. Coffee and Alcohol, the latter being involved in 60% of muders, even more of car crashes, broken homes etc.. Yet thats perfectly acceptable because , ?
Everyone says so?
Easily taxed and controlled?
I personally dont know, I just feel like its a little unevenly talked about and experimented with,
Out of billions we spent on tabocco most of it was spent trying to prove it wasnt bad for us.
Same with weed, millions spent on trying to prove it is bad for us. etc etc...
I understand your point, I just have a different point of view
