I live in Tra Vinh. You just get fined here but don't know if it applies the same to other places. The police here is prob one of the few places in vietnam where its mostly legit. Hardly ever any bribery, one of the reasons why I stay here.

The fine gets bigger each time. 500k, 1 mill, 1.5 mill. Supposedly the 4th time is different but I don't know. The one who is the "house" gets a bigger fine. The family that mainly runs the gambling where I live are not afraid of the police. Thugs basically. I hear the fine is around 10 million if the "house" gets caught.

All the motorcycles will be impounded and sold if no one claims it in like 30 days. Those that do come in to claim it , owner of bike, will have to explain why they were there or who was using the bike.

I also hear that the venders get to walk or small fine.

No idea what would happen if a foreigner gets caught. I assume where I live the same fine as others. Other places where the cops are more corrupt, they prob extort him for more.

~Best time in VN

I was going to go to Nha Trang for a week so to prep for this I hit the dating sites. Got a handful of prospects to hit up while I am there. ~ I always loved going to weddings; especially in the states. Asian weddings, not white weddings. So while in VN, the same holds true; only thing is that weddings in VN sucks. I have only been to a handful of weddings here but the home weddings totally sucks. Best I would say are the weddings held at hotels or restaurants.
