I'm Back!

Well I should be. Since my last cash in Seneca Niagara, I've been puttering around, and haven't touched a poker game since. I left poker basically because I achieved a big goal of mine, making it into the Hendon Mob database. (in b4 OP is bragging ldo) My biggest fear was that I was playing poker for the wrong reasons ( playing for the prestige of being famous and stupid **** rather than). Leaving poker for two years has given me a bit of perspective, and I feel that I am in a better mindset. I have a full time IT job now, but I seriously miss poker.

I'm rolling back up and putting my game back together. I need to start crushing 2/4 limit hold'em again.

I have a few local games running around my area, for some reason poker had a bit of a boom around here. I plan on running through these tournaments and the cash games that run behind them. When I work my way back up to a sizable roll, I'll be working on the lower end tournaments in TS and Seneca Niagara. The plan is to build up a roll for WSOP 2017, and seeing what i can do at that time.

In the meantime, It's going back through the 2+2 communities spending a lot of time in LLSNL and TMTTc - Live. I'm also going through my own notes from years past, my poker books that helped to shape my game and do my best to be back on here harassing 4Lifers, making bad jokes that no one likes, and posting more dating life stories.

TL;DR - Left poker, coming back but have real job. Rolling up for WSOP 2017.

Even I am in the Hendon Mob database and I'm basically a poker nobody.

The local games that are around here are 20 and 30 no rake tournaments with 30-40 player fields. I'm hoping to work up from there once i have 10-15 $X buyin events in my bankroll and take shots from there.

I'm planning 2 MTTs a week, and at least 20 hours of reading a week. It was about how much i was spending on it before hand ( perhaps a little more because of all the free time i had ) but it was not focused. I want to see mainly what i have missed in terms of trends in the game, and what i can do to exploit them ie. How bad FPS has gotten and what has changed in the game and the like.

Your thread would be better if you listed your charges and you talked a little bit about your cellie. How hard is it to make a shank out of a tooth brush and stuff like that.

Did you type 2/4 limit? Is that even spread anymore? If it is, Im pretty sure it is hard to beat the rake in that game. If limit is your thing, I wouldnt be playing lower than 5/10. Even that game is kinda tuff to beat with either deep pocket stations or OMCs infesting that level imo. I really prefer 15+ when considering LHE.

That's why my win rate was so hard to believe ( $3.74/ hr over 500+ hours documented lolz) I would never do that these days, since i have the seed money to comfortably walk into a 5/10 LHE game nowadays.
